DoO was started by Barley when he was just a pipsqueak sausage. He kept running into mini-dachshunds around downtown Orlando and was determined to connect owners so he could have playmates his own size (sausage size).

Anyone can host a dachshund meet up anywhere, anytime - this group is for you! Please feel free to create an event on our Facebook page.
To list your event on our website, email Caroline@DachshundsofOrlando.com with host information, date, time, location and any details members should be aware of before arrival.

Nothing is more important to us than the safety of our weens. Dachshunds of Orlando does not breed nor support unhealthy breeding practices or "puppy mills". Facebook does not allow the sale of animals and DoO complies with all local and federal laws.
However we know ethical breeders exist within our community and the desire for dachshund

Dachshunds of Orlando connects Dachshund owners with DoO-vetted sitters in the Orlando area who know the unique needs of our fur babies and have a sausage dog of their own. Sitters can be nominated by our community members and are verified by our weens.
